Episcopal 101

November 6, 13, and 20 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

It may be that you’re hoping to know Christ through the Episcopal Church.  If so, come to Episcopal 101 held Sunday November 6, 13 and 20 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. led by the clergy and one another as we share our stories in a small group. We are a tradition that invites inquiry and curiosity, especially in studying scripture in our everyday lives.  It may be that you’re looking for a community of authenticity and purpose.  We are a faith that practices radical welcoming, living in response to God’s call to serve God’s people near and far.  It may be that you’re hoping to find new friends.  We are a community that rejoices in God’s blessing upon us.  We celebrate through worship, service, learning and fellowship as we strive to serve, grow and build. As you make Epiphany your church home, it may be now that you desire to know more about the Episcopal Church, to be confirmed, received, reaffirmed or baptized in the Church.  If so, you’ll want to attend the three sessions of Episcopal 101, the basics of the faith.

During the three sessions, you’re invited to connect with others seeking to know the faith.  We’ll learn our story as the church, through scripture.   In addition, we’ll study the history of the Anglican Communion, and the Episcopal Church.  We’ll spend time in The Book of Common Prayer our context for prayer and worship in the Episcopal Church.  We’ll learn about the life of Epiphany today as a faithful community building a Christ-centered community, growing in God’s grace, welcoming all in love, and providing for God’s world.
